How the deal-score works
The deal-score compares a listing's asking price to the median price of comparable cars — same make and model, within 2 model years and about 20,000 miles — drawn from every site we watch.
- under market — cheaper than that median.
- over market — pricier than the median.
- We need at least 5 comparable listings before scoring, so a rare or thin model shows nothing rather than a misleading number.
It's our own estimate computed over public facts (price, year, mileage) — a starting point for a conversation, not an appraisal or a guarantee. Always inspect the car and verify the title yourself.
De-duplication: the same car is often posted across several sites and regions. We group those into one card (with a price range when they disagree) so you're comparing cars, not duplicates.
